Okay, a slower start than I expected for this book—but it begins! Here’s the first full page. From here on out, I’ll be releasing the story in roughly half-page installments. That feels like a manageable pace that I can stick to without burning out.

You might also notice some rough pencil scribbles left in for now—I may keep a bit of that in as I go.

This page took more time than I expected. I think it’s because it sets the tone for everything that follows—a strange balance of small-town calm and… zombies. I keep wondering how much polish it really needs. Would adding a second gray tone or texture help, or would it dull the starkness of the black and white?
